Abstract

The objective of this project is the achievement of new nanostructured materials with zinc, titanium and cerium oxides, aiming at a fine control of the morphology, structure and composition. In this sense, after the development of appropriate synthesis methodologies, the correlations between the structural characteristics and optoelectronics properties will be investigated. In addition, we intend to verify the improvement in the properties of Zn and Ti oxides when they are associated to Ce oxide, besides the efficiency as UV absorbers when such materials are applied in thin films.
