Abstract

This research proposal aims to discuss the migration processes between rural migrant workers . Takes as its object the rural workers harvest orange Southeast Piauiense migrants and residents of neighborhoods considered " peripheral " or poor at São Paulo, Central Region . General aim to reconstruct the trajectory of these rural migrant workers considering how ( re) construct their social identities , understanding that the same form in the relationship between rural and urban, experienced by migrants through the world of work and their migratory trajectories and the specific goals we have as objective a) Understand how rural migrant workers , the identity process resignify social spaces of life (the house in the city and work in the field) b) Examine identities as power relations c ) Describe sociologically the passage of the category "Boias-Frias " for a rural worker from qualitative interviews and literature d ) further discussion of internal migration and social identities , and ) further socio-demographic analysis of the Central Region of the state of São Paul started the dissertation f ) investigate through literature the structural and micro social causes (social networks) migration of Piaui to Sao Paulo . Methodological approaches to oral history and migration biographies will be used in order to capture the social relations established in the output, the route on arrival and sojourn in São Paulo. Quantitative analysis will also be considered , especially those information the census 2010 that identifying the case for these workers . (AU)
