The present work has the objective of manufacture modular panel for lateral closure for cattle handling facilities the base of sugarcane bagasse, evaluation of physical-mechanical behavior of particleboards and the modular panel before and after its application, mounting of working chute with modular panel and study of surface body temperature of cattle handled on this facility and similar in precast concrete. The physical-mechanical properties of particleboards will be evaluated based on the requirements of normative documents NBR 14810 (2006) and NBR 7190 (1997), before and after testing of natural and accelerated aging. The evaluation of structural performance of the modular panels will be held in the laboratory test (soft-body impact) based on the normative document MB-3256: 1990 and in situ during the cattle handling. The body-surface temperature, of the animals handled in the working chute of modular panel and similar in precast concrete, will be measured using a thermal imager. It is expected that results obtained in this work propose a new modular building component and portant for cattle facilities, which uses agroindustrial waste and ensure better conditions for animals during handling.
