Abstract

Studies indicate that resources Assistive Technology (AT) can make a big difference in the education of students with disabilities. However, the continued use of these by teachers of rooms multifunction resources (RMR) is considered challenging, for though they take ownership of assistive technology, in general, do not give continuation of its use after the termination of the training program. Considering the recommendation of the literature of a permanent service of collaborative consulting in assistive technology for teachers of students with disabilities, the objective of this study is to evaluate a service of collaborative consulting at distance in Assistive Technology for Teachers Rooms Multifunction resources through a qualitative research approach with an exploratory lineation. Participants will be five teachers of Room Multifunction resources and five consultants in the area of Special Education. The data obtained from this research will be collected through the activities to be performed in virtual learning environments (VLE) and questionnaire responses (involving open and closed questions). Initially, the demand on Assistive Technology will be conferred and possibility of collaborative consulting. Then the intervention will be based on the provision of the service of collaborative consulting in distance mode and each teacher will choose a case to receive consulting, who is a student with cerebral palsy and that requires Assistive Technology. The interactions between consultants and consulted will be recorded in the Virtual Learning Enviroments, and data will be treated by the technique of content analysis.
