The complete atomistic determination of biomolecules is primal for the understanding of their action, treatment of associated diseases and analyzing probable inhibitors, for example. However, at the same time, is a hard task and requires expensive experimental techniques. The progress of computational technology allowed the development of essential work tools for this study. The molecular modeling by homology circumvents these obstacles creating theoretical models, based on the information available in online repositories, trough programs that search, compare, model and evaluate what has been built, checking its stability and integrity. In this project, the modeling of immunoglobuin G (IgG), key-antibody in the diagnosis of autoimmune diseases, will be done and will also assist the creation of a specific nanobiosensor for detect Multiple Sclerosis, developed by our group (Group of Reasearch in Nanoneurobiophysics, http://www.nanoneurobiophysics.net/), under the orientation/supervision of Prof. Dr. Fábio de Lima Leite. This project of scientific initiation will complement already ongoing experimental reaserch. It is directly linked to three processes: "Jovem Pesquisador" (no 07/05089-9, Prof. Dr. Fábio de Lima Leite), postdoctoral (no 2013/09746-5, Dr. Guedmiller Souza de Oliveira - ongoing) and scientific initiation of FAPESP (process 13/04320-0, Srta. Ariana de Souza Moraes - ongoing).
