The branches of commercial activities and services are relevant to understand the new relationships between consumption, urban restructuring and restructuring of middle cities. Therefore, the restructuring of the Brazilian cities has as one of its many determinations, various elements that redefine their morphologies. The branches of commercial activities and services, especially those that can be classified as responsible for productive consumption (that is: commercial businesses and services related to industrial and/or associated with the agribusiness, both those with strong participation of foreign capital as those managed by local capital) can be considered as responsible for absorbing portion of urban space and, as such, are responsible for the restructuring of the city. This research aims, on the one hand, to map these locational choices of firms responsible for productive consumption in Brazil, especially in the cities studied by thematic project evaluating, therefore, the strategies adopted within the urban network and, on the other hand, to check how to give choices on the scale of the city .
