Abstract

In order to conduct a research at the Università di Bologna during the months of January, February and March of 2014, this is a proposal to request the support of FAPESP through the BEPE-MS program (Research internship abroad for recipients of FAPESP). The Università di Bologna is a globally distinguished center for education and research, and it can provide me the great opportunity of getting in contact with outstanding researchers and professors and of consulting extraordinary libraries in my field of investigation. Furthermore, considering that the main object of this research is the work of Pier Paolo Pasolini - more specifically, his essays written from 1973 to 1975 - it is important to stress that some of the most currently renowned critics of his writings (such as Marco Bazzocchi and Giuliana Benvenuti) belong to this university. In addition to this, Bologna is home to a very important archive at the Cineteca di Bologna, named Archivio Pier Paolo Pasolini, where it is possible to gather a substantial bibliography about Pasolini and access his complete work.
