Abstract

The utilization of cloud computing environments for storing files is done on a large scale by companies, organizations and even individuals. This leads to consider storage models that provide greater levels of security, privacy, availability and performance. This work proposes a new model of security and high availability for distributed file storage in a cloud computing environment using the technique of dispersing information and without the need for centralization of management in an access server. This approach will minimize the risks related to security and privacy of data while maintaining acceptable levels of availability, performance and scalability. To evaluate the proposed experiments will be conducted, which will be compared with other studies in the area. (AU)
