Abstract

Many injuries may assail the tooth lifespan as caries, attrition, abrasion, erosion, trauma, dental restorative procedures, and materials resulting in partial or total loss of the connective pulp tissue. The tissue engineering has been used in an attempt to restore the pulp through pulp repair techniques, when there is partial loss of pulp tissue or by using regeneration techniques, when there is total loss of the pulp. In terms of total loss of pulp tissue in immature teeth with incomplete apical closure the technique revitalization/revascularization is another approach that has been studied in an attempt to keep the tooth longevity and quality of life of the individual. The mechanism of repair that follows after an injury to dental pulp is vital for the survival of the tooth and involves a series of processes that need to be fully elucidated. Little is Known about the molecular mechanism involved in the process of dental healing and most precisely, the origin, phenotype, process of recruitment and differentiation of cells involved in the processes of pulpal repair. In view of the above is objective of this research project To analyze the participation of non-residents hematopoietic stem cells (HSC) in the pulp repair after pulp exposure and capping using a transgenic GFP (green fluorescent protein) animals model.
