The economic concentration in the sector of trade and services, observed on a global scale and quite significantly in Brazil over the past 30 years, has promoted the expansion of the territorial base of large and medium capital associated with the food industry, which now include in their choices locational, medium-sized cities, through association with small and medium entrepreneurs. Part of these initiatives is realized in the form of deductibles, establishing thus multiscale relationships between franchisors and franchisees. This research aims on the one hand, map these locational choices in Brazil, especially in the cities of Londrina - PR and Presidente Prudente - SP, studied by the project theme: "Logical contemporary economic and spatial practices: medium cities and consumption", evaluating, therefore, strategies adopted within the urban network and, moreover, verifying how such choices are given on a scale in the city. The research focus will be on food services, specifically about the fast food chains that operate the franchise system,. Seeking to assess whether their locational choices reinforce the urban structure of cities studied or contribute to its redefinition, by strengthening the emergence of new spaces of consumption of goods and services.
