Abstract

The sport for people with disabilities came from two lines of thought: one guided on medical-therapeutic focus, and another with competitive connotation in high performance. This last one requires the search for good results, and shows the concern with the factors that can influence the performance of athletes as the training load, stress aspects of sports and conditions related to imunoendocrine aspects. There are few studies that analyze such factors as related to athletics Paralympic high performance. Looking to solve this problem, this study aims to examine the psychophysiological and inflammatory responses in Brazilian paralympic athletes in different phases of sports training. Will be evaluated 20 male athletes, participants of the Brazilian Paralympic athletics athletes in categories T11 and T12, and divided in two groups: athletes with visual impairment and his respective guides. The evaluations will follow the timeline established by the coaches from the monitoring of training cycles, such as: body composition, markers neuroimunoendrcrine, risk of occurrence of upper respiratory tract infection, sources and symptoms of stress and load training session. Results are expressed as mean ± standard error of the mean (SEM), and statistical analysis will be performed based on normality test and followed by appropriate statistical tests with significance level of p <0.05.
