Abstract

Dance as one of the contents of body culture still struggling to enter the school walls. The Physical Education teachers for lack theoretical and practical experiences with this content both before and after graduation, still feel bound to treat it so meaningful and contextualized. The curriculum by presenting itself as a selection of important culture is a snip of knowledge that must be thematized in school, giving teachers an overview of the contents, constituting one of the guiding curriculum components. The physical education curriculum of the State of São Paulo, introduced recently considers dance as one of its contents, however, shows the pedagogical support offered is limited, as regards the theoretical depth. Thus, it is necessary to investigate some pedagogic possibilities to contribute to the work of the teacher already facing so many difficulties in the school environment. Given the new context that is established, an interesting alternative would be to invest in the new technologies of information and communication technologies (ICTs) to provide teachers knowledge and possibilities to develop further work with dance in their classes, not just restricting students to reading notebook of the curriculum. Using a digital platform as a teaching environment that supports teachers, diverse knowledge, and space for them to publish their experiences, could increase the chances of learning, which constitutes an interesting strategy. ICTs in educational settings enable a broader elaboration of knowledge, expanding the sources of information, and enabling the teacher to handle content that often is not present inside the Physical Education classes. Therefore, the aim of this study is to analyze the content of dance curriculum proposed by the Physical Education of the State of São Paulo for the seventh year of elementary school, and from that, develop a complementary material in digital language that subsidizes the work of the teacher in teaching this content. Secondly, the material will be assessed through interviews with two teachers working in the state system, which will use the same in real education in order to check the quality and the shortcomings of the proposal.
