The particles in the nanometer range, known as nanoparticles, have attracted great interest in recent years due to their unique physical and chemical properties as well as its great potential in various fields of technological applications. Therefore the aim of this study is to characterize and synthesize nanoparticles of type F3O4 for use in gas diffusion electrodes (GDE) in order to have the H2O2 electrogeneration under acidic conditions. The characterization techniques are: structural characterization by X-ray diffraction, XPS spectroscopy, elemental analysis, scanning electron microscopy - SEM, transmission electron microscopy, surface analysis by N2 physisorption. The electrochemistry (electrochemical characterization) and the study of electrocatalytic activity of nanoparticles for the formation of H2O2 will be evaluated using a glassy carbon electrode (GC). Results for the synthesis of nanoparticles can show that the crystal structure of the same can be controlled by of size Fe3O4 may have a homogeneous distribution. (AU)
