Ergonomic evaluation of the functions and activities of housing: the housing unit - expectations and needs of comfort, well-being and autonomy of elderly fit (healthy)

Abstract

This research is part of the thematic project (process ref. 2010/10189-5): Human Biometeorology: analysis of the effects of air pollution and climate changes in the geriatric population in São Paulo. The object of this research plan is the ergonomic housing evaluation focused on the needs of abled seniors. It is intended, as the main goal of the research when evaluating the ergonomic quality of internal spaces of housing, to contribute and add value to the quality of life of individuals in the activity of "live". In addition, will be emphasized the importance of ergonomic evaluation of these spaces, not only with the evaluation of consolidated areas but mainly with the adequacy of the proposed functions and uses, adding architectural and urban quality in a more comprehensive way in the habits and uses of a dwelling.
