Abstract

The Cerrado is in a critical state of degradation and there are no literature specific techniques of ecological restoration to their physiognomies, especially for grassland sites. The existing procedures are based on forest formations, not applying the Cerrado, making it necessary to develop restoration techniques for this vegetation. In order to improve the technique used in the project "Evaluation of the potential transposition of top soil and hay for the restoration of the cerrado vegetation" proposes to stage performing in IMBE - Institut Méditerranéen d'Ecologie et of Biodiversité, the Université d’Avignon et des Pays de Vaucluse, during the month of May 2013, which will present the project of restoring grassland sites carried by that institution and monitoring of results with the team on the field. The internship will enhance the research project that is being developed in Brazil, better support for interpreting the results obtained for the campo cerrado. The IMBE is developing protocols for restoration of grassland sites and getting success in these initiatives, such that the internship can contribute to the advances of the technique in Brazil, marking an advance in knowledge of ecological restoration.
