Abstract

It considers the distance between the geographical concepts and the daily life of students, one of the serious obstacles to a significant geographical education. In this perspective, the present work aims to contribute to improving the geography teaching, from the contribution of the concept of planning teaching' analysis of Gasparin (2007) arising from the Vygotsky historical-critical pedagogy and cultural-historical theory to a geography planning education that when focus on the geographical concepts consider the students social practice, the context of public schools and the possibility of walk on to a more humane education. By this way, it will be desenvolved a literature searching and a case study in a public school in Ourinhos / SP, in order to get in touch with the individual dynamics classes which will be applied a lesson plan on the historical-critical perspective. The results include a reflection about the contribution of the lesson plan in the historical-critical approach in the geography education. (AU)
