Abstract

The search for bioactive substances in natural products has stimulated integrated approaches in order to provide chemical information about the processes and interactions involved in the pharmacological responses from bioactive matrixes. Among these, metabolomics allows the qualitative and quantitative analysis of the molecular composition of an organism aiming the explanation of biological processes through the evaluation of metabolic responses. Our project aims to develop NMR analytical methods associated to dereplication computational models, in order to evaluate the metabolic profile produced by endophytic fungi associated with Senna spectabilis, a plant known to produce chemotypes with acetylcholinesterase inhibitory properties.
