Usually, ancillary services of the power system are provided and secured by large conventional generators. However, technological advances and demand for energy production with less environmental impact generated a growing interest in energy sources from distributed generation.The focus of this work is to develop an efficient methodology, technical and economically, allowing the valuation of reserve of active power for frequency control and reactive power support ancillary services, when they are provided by Distributed Generators (DGs); and the development of a mechanism for consumers compensation for the non-attendance of these services. In the modeling of the problem, detailed models of DGs with and without uncertainty, caused by the variation in the primary energy source, will be considered. Moreover, an efficient algorithm for multiobjective optimization will be developed, where the search is oriented to the Pareto set (set of optimal solutions), maintaining the diversity of the obtained solutions.
