The main objective of this project is to test methodologies developed in the last five years to be applied in potential field data, gravity and magnetic data. The interest area is the Goiás Alkaline Province (GAP), at Goiás State. The region is covered with aeromagnetic survey of high quality and terrestrial gravity survey. The alkaline intrusions outcrop in the basement and inside the Paraná Basin, at the north border. The intrusions have some a differentiated distribution: in the north appears as large intrusion, possible related with magmatic chambers and in the south there is the presence of kamafugitc flow. Besides the use of the recent methodologies for delimitation of the bodies responsible for the anomalies, it will be done a 3D inversion using results from downward continuation. This type of procedure has never been applied to the area, and it is expected that it works better with the anomalies characterized by small amplitudes. Based on the results form GAP, the techniques will be applied in the alkaline bodies from Alto Paraníba Igneous Province.
