Abstract Required increases in reproductive efficiency in cattle depends on the understanding of the endocrine, cellular and molecular results in higher conception rates in cows. The project's central thesis is that there is a "molecular signature" associated with the optimal conditions of maternal responsiveness to the embryo. This signature constitutes a characteristic pattern of abundance of biochemical molecules of various natures.
