During the stage of Ph.D. at the University of Lisbon, we intend to devote to research, readings and discussions about the intellectual and religious who participated in the movement to Portuguese Catholic's Restore between 1910 and 1937. With our activities, we will collect sources that have helped us to understand the dialogue between Lusitanian scholars and Catholic thinkers in the city of Recife, being possible to analyze the interdiscursivity about the politicization of the clergy and the restore of Catholic's institutions in both countries. For this purpose, archival research in the cities of Lisbon, Coimbra and Porto, observing the regular and secular clergy, and the bibliography will help with the construction of our thesis. In the months of probation, will be entered in the search line "DEMOLINE - Citizenship and Democratic Institutions," being directed by Professor Antonio Costa Pinto, professor of the Institute of Social Sciences, participating in discussions on subjects and events held at the institution. The period will be important to develop our understanding of the religious movements, his relations with the mass organizations and the participation of scholars in discussions between the State and the clergy.
