Abstract

Currently, UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) are being used in civilian and military scenarios, for example, find people in environmental disasters, collecting images for surveillance, military target recognition, etc. These missions can be optimized through the aircrafts that have ability to cooperate in the flight. Therefore, it is necessary to maintain communication between UAVs, but this is a challenge in terms of wireless networks, due to the movement of aircraft and instability in the communication link. For keeping the connection or feasible data delivery, we research new protocols and mechanisms to recover the connection. The idea is maximize connectivity during flight. In this sense, we expected improve algorithms based on the concept of autonomous computing and MANETs (Mobile Ad-hoc NETworks). (AU)
