After observations and reports from prayer groups of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal (CCR) in Marilia / SP, it was found that some individuals claimed to have been touched by a power (CHAUÍ, 2000) more intensely. Such episodes led to a point of tension emerged the conflict between the rules of conduct established by the RCC and the experiences told by those who had experienced uncontrollable. Then, one can observe the emergence of groups that began to gather in meetings - called prayer vigils in the hills - outside the house of worship, a kind of escape from control of events and in order to avoid strangeness with the institution which were linked site (or Parish Church). This research aims to understand the meanings attributed to these emerging experiences that are experienced in the mountains by these individuals who, although they say Catholic Charismatics, performatizam own rituals outside the Established Church. From the understanding that the experience of the sacred is part of the anthropological experience, is expected to contribute to the study of new forms of belief and experience in contemporary religious phenomena.
