The maintenance of forage straw on soil surface on field of seed production, because of the burned restriction, it can occur changes in nitrogen (N) dynamics on soil. Thus, the common bean cultivation after these forages with conventional recommendation of N supply, in coverage it may have reduced the grain yield due to deficiency of N, especially at the initial stages of plant development. In this context, the used of N supply anticipation on forage grasses, it may increase the seed production and make available N in the initial stages of the bean crop in succession, by providing straw production with lower C/N relationship. This it may also contribute to the straw decomposition, avoiding excessive accumulation that interferes directly in the producing and quality of the harvest, that it's realized on soil after the natural grass cutting. The objective of this study is to evaluate the possible benefits of early N fertilization on yield and quality of seeds of forage plants, decomposition of residual straw and nutrition and yield of the bean crop grown in succession in no tillage. It will be conducted two experiments in field of tropical forage seed production. The experiment I will be conducted in field with Urochloa brizantha cv. MG-4 and experiment II in field on Urochloa humidicola cv. Llanero. In both experiments, the experimental design is in randomized blocks, with split-plot scheme, with four replications. The plots was composed of five forms of handling the dose of 150 kg ha-1 of N in forage (0-0 (control); 150-0; 0-150; 100-50, and 50-100 kg ha-1, N), respectively, on forage 45 DAE (Experiment I) or 45 days after the cutting standard (Experiment II) and pre-booting (floral differentiation). The subplots was composed of four doses of sidedressing N in bean crop (0, 50, 100, and 150 kg ha-1 of N). Sidressing application in bean crop will be done at the V4 stage. The ammonium nitrate will be used as N source. It will be evaluated: yield and physiological quality of forage seeds; yield, C/N relationship, persistence and nutrients release from the forage resitual straw; shoot dry weight of bean; cumulative amount of N in shoot; relative index of chlorophyll in bean leaves; nutrients content in bean leaves; yield components and grain yield of bean crop. The data obtained will be subjected to analysis of variance. The averages of management N treatments in forage grasses it will be compared by Tukey test of 5% probability. The effects of N doses in bean crop it will be assessed by polynomial regression analysis. (AU)
