Abstract

The use of magnesium and its alloys for hydrogen storage has been investigated intensively in recent decades by economic and security reasons. In the present project will be processed powders of magnesium and magnesium hydride by high energy milling to obtain nanoparticules. After this, will then be cold rolled with the incorporation of powders in ductile metals. The evaluation processing will be performed by structural characterization and absorption and desorption of hydrogen performance. (AU)
