The foreign policy of China and the BRICS: a case study

Abstract

This research project intends to understand the foreign policy of China in the periodo that starts at the endo of the Cold War till nowadays. Based onthe reconstruction, we will analyze the components of the international projection of China in the post-Cold War World and in which way the BRICS alliance (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa)is present in its external agenda. The goal is to research how China views the BRICS since China is Brazil main individual trade partner in the current scenario and the BRICS one relevant priority of our foreign policy agenda. (AU)
