Abstract

This research project will be developed during a period of six months at AT&T Labs-Research, Shannon Laboratory, and is focused on coding for continuous alphabet sources and security based on Information Theoretic hypotheses. The objective is to explore connections between Lattice Theory (a subject that has been studied in the first stage of the PhD) and topics of continuous coding and security. This project will be supervised by Prof. Vinay A. Vaishampayan (Distinguished Member of Technical Staff, AT&T Labs-Research, Shannon Labs). (AU)
