Analyzing the rainfall and soybean productivity, a study case in Paraná slope at Paranapanema basin agricultural territories - Brazil

Abstract

This project aims to obtain the research training scholarship abroad offered by FAPESP (BEPE - Mestrado). It has as its central objective the search for methods to the correlation between precipitation and soybean yield as a contribution to the central objective of the regular search underway in Brazil. First, we assumed that the climate is not just a variable that marks the rhythm of the usual time, but a natural phenomenon produced by the Sun-Earth-Atmosphere with great influence on human activities, especially in agriculture. With this, we must find new approaches to create data sets that allow the statistical correlation between precipitation and soybean yield, especially regarding the learning of remote sensing techniques for the analysis of this relationship. Moreover, is intended to understand the strategies which France has applied to reduce the negative effects of rain on farm incomes, with pretensions to perform a compartivo along our study area. (AU)
