The main objective of this project is to develop and make use of image processing techniques applied to observations of EUV solar corona. With such techniques, the study of intensity fluctuations and kinematic parameter measurements along different structures, as coronal loops and plumes, is performed. The EUV images are obtained by EUVI aboard STEREO and the AIA aboard the SDO. The kinematical evolution is analyzed using height-time intensity maps (J-maps), which is present under development. Due to the weak relative intensity signature of the intensity fluctuations, the structures must be enhanced. Throughout this project it will be made use of the multi-resolution technique which employs a multi-level decomposition via the à trous wavelet transform and noise reduction. With this technique, it is possible to visualize and enhance the details of different coronal structures, allowing to analyze the waves and flows behavior in the solar corona. The wavelet analysis technique is used to perform the intensity fluctuations periodicity analysis along the different coronal structures, allowing to certificate if the fluctuations are related to flow or waves.
