Abstract

The objective of this study is to evaluate the efficiency of electrochemical gas diffusion electrodes (EDG), produced with pigments graphitic conductors and emulsion PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), modified with organometallic catalysts (zinc and nickel phthalocyanines) redox in the synthesis of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) in situ, from the cathodic reduction of O 2 in aqueous medium. Initially, we intend to use the technique of microlayer porous mass obtained from the catalytic with variable contents of each catalyst, deposited on the surface of a rotating ring-disc electrode (RRDE), seeking a mechanistic study of the reduction reaction of O2 and evaluating the efficiency of each catalytic mass, modified or not with different amounts of organometallic phthalocyanines for the production of H2O2. The pasta electrocatalytic efficiency for the production of H2O2 are used to prepare these EDGM EDGM and will be tested for the electrochemical cell electrogeneration of H2O2. (AU)
