Abstract

This study aims to quantify the expression of HSP70 (heat shock protein) in lymphocytes of cows subjected to heat stress conditions, as well as to assess their thermolytic capacity, and compare them with each other. The experimental phase will be developed in Pirassununga and in Descalvado (in São Paulo state) with animals of Holstein Friesian and Brahman breeds, respectively. The animals will be exposed to heat stress in an orderly and controlled way, through thermolytic capacity tests. It is intended to assess the relationship between physiological parameters and the gene expression of HSP70 in animals.(AU)
