Abstract

The music is mainly seen as art and recreation and can also play an important role in educating children and young people, bringing many benefits. However, besides all the benefits that music brings, when the individual is exposed inappropriately, the pleasure afforded by music can bring auditory and non auditory effects. The risk for acquiring hearing loss depend on factors such as number of hours of earphones or intensity. The amount of sound intensity and the time it is exposed to them are determinants of the ability to damage your hearing. Thus, the objective of this study will investigate the prevalence of hearing loss minimum in adolescents of both sexes, to estimate the prevalence of tinnitus in these adolescents, and perform a systematic review papers on the subject.Such information will bring contributions to the establishment of policies for coping theory and methodology capable of capturing new approaches to youth's health response in order to provide the maintenance or improvement of health levels of young people at risk of hearing.
