Abstract

The project aims to obtain gelatin microparticles containing rutin, perform the physical, physicochemical and functional caracterization of particles and develop bioactive sunscreen with efficacy estimated in vitro, containing the microstructured systems. The gelatin-based systems containing rutin will be obtained by desolvation technique in two steps. The characterization of the microparticles will be held through the following analysis: distribution of particle size, zeta potential, rate of association and antirradicalar activity . The formulations will be evaluated in relation to organoleptic characteristics, viscosity, the value of pH, and in vitro evaluation of the photoprotection effectiveness. The results will present perspectives of application in strategic areas of cosmetic sunscreens development.
