Abstract

This project aims to appropriate the time-space multiresolution adaptive techniques for numerical resolution of partial differential equations in the context of analysis wavelet developed by the proponent in partnership with other groups of the Aix-Marseille and the UNICAMP. The idea is to integrate these techniques with new techniques developed for other international research groups, in the scope of the summer program 17th Centre d' Eté Matematique de Recherche Avancée en Calcul Scientifique - CEMRACS 2012: Numerical methods and algorithms will be high performance computing, Parallelization, sub-project Implementation and optimization of adaptive multiresolution methodologies: application you hydrodynamic and magnetohydrodynamics turbulence (POAM2-AHMHT). With these improvements one expects to give a great jump of computational quality of the developed technique. An ansatz is the establishment it of more efficient methods to located processes of hydrodynamic and magneto-hydrodynamic numerical models of interest of the INPE and Brazil. The development of a project of this type inserts Brazil in the efforts of better mathematician-numerical-computational adaptive representation, when dealing with open problems in space sciences and technologies of the present time, increasing applications of these knowledge in services or products for strategical sectors of the country and international vanguard.
