Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze geographical determinations of human objectifications in individual realizations, in a relative form, manifested in poetry creation. Empirically, it investigates the importance of landscape and memory as ontological counterpoints to the effective poetic realization of the author Manoel de Barros. It also discusses the role assumed by the Pantanal landscape, in relative terms, in relation to the poetry revelation of the author from Mato Grosso, Brazil. Lastly, it is an attempt to deepen a field of study that involves a tripartite analysis: man-place-work of art, in the light of an approach to his poetic work. (AU)
