Abstract This project is part of a development proposal that will bring institutional grants for technical and scientific implementation of methods for acquisition, representation and analysis ofremotely sensed data in studies aimed at the Geography of Health Laboratory of UNESP,Presidente Prudente, in particular development and analysis of environmental indicators and their correlations in public health.For this, we have focused on analysis not studied forest remnant (as cataloged by the atlasof the Biota / FAPESP) in the Paraná River basin bounded by the reservoir of the Porto Primavera Hydroelectric Power Plant . From this proposal, we intend toconsolidate the line of research on health and environment of the laboratory, convergingexisting efforts and creating new initiatives in various levels of study (undergraduate research and graduate) in the Geography of Health. | |
