Abstract

Official data reveal that the worry about schooling of remaining members of quilombolas communities is recent, and that there is a silence regarding these communities' disabled students. In this discussion, many issues deserve to be highlighted, starting with the access to education, which is historically precarious. Thus, this research project aims at: knowing the disabled students who live in the quilombolas communities and attend countryside schools; analyzing the developed pedagogic practices and the established relations with these students. It is intended to carry out the research in the one school of the State of São Paulo, and in the community where they live. The instruments of data gathering will be composed of semi structured interviews with school professionals, with the students themselves and their parents or guardians; those interviews will be accompanied by annotations and field records. It is expected that, with this study, data and theoretical arguments are raised, which will substantiate actions and discussions about the schooling of disabled students from quilombolas communities of the State of São Paulo.
