Abstract

This undergraduate research project aims at carrying out kinetic resolution of carbonates derived from Morita-Baylis-Hillman, using an enantioselective allylic hydroxylation. The chiral adducts will be employed as starting material for the synthesis of chiral 1,8-dihydronaphthyridines and dihydroquinolines (AU)
