Construction of a model for the communication of results from the articulation, management and operation of agents of a research and innovation network for the aerial application of pesticides

Abstract

The objective of this research project is to build a conceptual approach to communicate results of articulation, management and operation of agents of a research and innovation network, conceived by Embrapa and led by Embrapa Instrumentation, headquartered in the state of São Paulo, for the development of aerial application of pesticides to control agricultural pests. This research is based on recent contributions not only grounded in the paradigm of complex systems but also in aspects of the Communication in Cooperation Organization Networks. It will thus be used as a case study the specification of an information and communication architecture of results that will build a research network for the sharing of elements that can add quality and efficiency to aerial application of pesticides. The agents involved in the research network - Research Centers of Embrapa, SINDAG - including agricultural aviation companies, Universities, Companies, the INCT-SEC/CNPq as well as the MAPA - will be interviewed based on a predetermined schedule and semi-structured form. As a result, the research seeks to contribute to the identification of protocols to be used in research and innovation networks through technological convergence, under systems approach, ensuring the alignment of network agents. This enables the formation of a virtual network, sharing skills, mirroring the strategic external relationships (customers, suppliers, partners and intermediate products) with the internal business network, meeting demands for competitiveness and sustainability of the sector as well as facilitating the effective generation of public policies.
