This research project is being developed at the level of scientific initiation, whose central objective is to analyze and understand aspects of studies and academic research to discuss the possibility of thinking the child as the subject of a process of research published between 1988 to 2010. Interest in this subject arose in order to know how we can proceed in the understanding of children's culture, fleeing from what is obvious and by learning to listen, voice, and once the children. A task that implies we change the form of query and set the child, childhood, and culture. With the challenge of establishing the necessary relationships and reflections from a new vision of the child in research, valuing the child as the subject of this process from the theories of researchers whose studies have been the field of knowledge on the production of a children's culture, research proposed here is characterized as literature with regard to their sources. Whereas this body of research represents a set of products on a particular theme, which may favor the development of other research and consolidation of knowledge, this research whose aim is to identify and analyze some aspects of this corpus in seeking to understand it better, this research can be characterized as a "state of the art." After the procedures, location, meeting, selection, and ordering of the corpus of research, there will be a work of categorization of data and information through the construction of instruments for research that considers the following issues: titles, abstracts, keywords, each one thesis, dissertations and journals, material, method and procedures of analysis of research findings, main considerations and final research findings. Then we will conduct an analysis centered on the relationship between data and information categorized for possible inferences and understanding of aspects of studies and academic research to discuss the possibility of thinking of the child as a subject of research published between process 1988 to 2010. We believe that the experiences in different stages of this project and learning from them as fruitful contributions both bring our training as a researcher and for discussions about the pedagogical practice of teachers.
