Abstract

This study aims to build a program that calculates the active and passive longitudinal reinforcement to be used in a prefabricated beam with pretensioning and simply supported beam. It is a module of the system CALCO. This system is being developed by a number of students who are part of a research group whose aim is to develop a free program (with source code available) in order to allow the calculation and detailing of reinforced concrete structures and prestressed structures. This module will use the tools developed in other applications CALCO system. A graphical program "Formas" developed by RAYMUNDO (2009) will be used for the input and output data. The longitudinal reinforced calculation and the serviceability limit states checks, including checking the ultimate limit state of bending at zero time, are made based on the work of MARQUESI (2010).To carry out the detailing along the beam will be used the precepts of CARVALHO (2009) that have been tested and put into practice by BINDILATEN (2009) and FALEIROS FILHO (2011) as well as PETRUCELLI (2009). It will be needed to develop: the calculation of the shear stirrups to resist the bending shear; the reinforcement checks and detailing along the beam, especially with regard to the isolation of reinforcement along the edges. It is intended, unlike the few programs which exist, to perform the calculation of the initial losses over time so that the detail is as accurate as possible. All procedures shall be in accordance with the NBR6118: 2003 (2003) especially those relating to verification of the durability in service that is unique, quite different from other standards such as Eurocode (2002), which make difficult the use of foreign programs for the purpose of detailing . Finally, due to the design features in prestressed concrete, it must be solved in stages, starting from pre-scaling to reaching the final reinforcement detailing, always allowing changes to be made by the user. The end result is a plan obtained by the use of AutoCAD LISP language that the student is already familiar with. As a final result is expected to obtain a tool that can be used by professionals and students to design, and detail prestressed concrete beams pre-tensioned using more time to analyze the solution without the need for repetitive procedures for calculating and detailing that can be quite lengthy.(AU)
