Abstract

Objective: This study aims to analyze the physical and mental responses that influence the quality of life (QOL) of individuals with epilepsy when submitted to a program of physical activity (PA) planned aerobic lasting sixteen weeks. Method will be used a sample of 50 epileptic patients, volunteers, divided into group - control (25) and group - active (25), sedentary, they do not have contraindications to physical exercise diagnosed by medical evaluation. The active group will be subjected to a planned program of aerobic activity, three times a week for 16 weeks. Before and after the program will be analyzed level of Quality of Life (QOL), frequency and intensity of crises, VO2max and body composition. (AU)
