Abstract

The interest in researching the Psychomotricity from the historical-cultural theory has emerged as a result of the participation of researchers in the study group, intervention and research in education and special education (GEIPEE/LAR), UNESP, Presidente Prudente/SP. The GEIPEE/LAR offer these services to students from state and municipal schools that are nominated by their teachers because they have learning difficulties at school. Thus, participation and performance in GEIPEE/LAR Psychomotricity possible to understand that contributes to the improvement in learning these subjects. Thus, this research project seeks to understand and analyze the process of psychomotor development of children with learning difficulties school from the historical-cultural theory and, therefore, assume the method of dialectical historical materialism as a real possibility of overcoming the positivist conceptions about Psychomotricity and Psychomotor Development of the subjects. Aim is to implement interventions with practical and theoretical subjects of research, aiming to develop aspects of psychomotor (fine motor, global, balance, body scheme, spatial organization, temporal organization and language), central to the learning process of school subjects. Thus, make will first review the literature concerning psychomotor, in order to achieve a critical evaluation of psychomotor from its origins to the present scenario. Later, to evaluate psychomotor along the research subjects to identify their level of psychomotor development effective. This assessment will be based on the scale of motor development (EDM) proposed by Rosa Neto (2002) and, considering the results of the psychomotor, will produce a psychomotor intervention program (PIP) through play activities, prepared based on the theoretical and methodological principles of historical-cultural theory. Search is still along the research work to identify practical and theoretical possibilities and their own physical education, resulting in the psychomotor development of children with learning difficulties in school, emphasizing the psychomotricity a Historic-Cultural Perspective.
