Abstract

This research proposes an analysis Fabio Morabito's work, specially his poetry and autobiographical book También Berlín se olvida (2004). The idea is based on the identification of the mechanisms of emergence and operation of biographical memory within the literary discourse, the appropriation of the foreign language as a tool for the articulation and configuration of the foreignness as a place of common enunciation in both genders, poetry and narrative. Likewise, also settles a relational reading between the two corpora based on the identification of common themes - travel, foreign language, the uprooting and the contrast between literary images, liquid (sea-river) and solid (the stone-wall) - as fundamental elements of the author's literary universe.
