From one literature analysis, can realize no much information concerning communication processes nonverbal on infants deafness. Thus, this research has for aimed, starting an case study investigation the process of communication, and language the relationship between one baby deaf in interação in one specific partner, on episodes of joke. The meta is investigar as the bebê significa seu estar in mundo, apesar of not if utilizar of linguagem verbal (embora atravessada by ela). The choice of episodes of play took place, because, according to Bruner, the game serves, among other functions, as a vehicle for language acquisition, in which the child learns to signal and acknowledge signals and expectations. The initial structure of the language with its rules, could be seen as an extension of the structure present in playful interaction with its regularities and patterns. The subject pivotal study is the baby Danilo (13 months) with congenital deafness. From it, was elected as the interaction partner - his grandmother and her two aunts - who are the persons legally responsible for their care and their daily care. The empirical data were obtained from The Constitution Project Subject of Language in Infants With and Without Hearing. The bank of images is related to monitoring, for six consecutive months, a baby deaf performing their daily activities at home with the presence of their families. From the video footage will be selected episodes of banter between the baby and his grandmother / aunts these episodes, there will be a transcrissão microgenetic and analysis of the scenes. It will focus on psychological processes of communication and understanding of language in its course of (trans) training. All data collection and data analysis will be conducted based on the theoretical-methodological perspective of the network of meanings, in order to grasp the complexity and dynamics of the processes analyzed.
