Abstract

The immunomodulatory activity of several medicinal plants from the family Asteraceae is due to the presence of sesquiterpene lactones. The immunomodulatory activity of the Tithonia diversifolia in human neutrophils will be investigated. Methods and Results: Neutrophils will be cultured with fMLP or budlein A for 18h and cytokines production analyzed by ELISA.
