Abstract

The objective of this project is the development of organometallic reagents for biological active molecules synthesis. In the first part of the work a number of bases such as TMPLi, TMPMgCl.LiCl, TMPZnCl.LiCl e TMP2Mg.2LiCl will be prepared and used in the functionalization of dioxinones. Aiming to develop more stable and selective bases, in the second part of the work some new bases derived from cis-dimethylpiperidyne and tert-butylamine will be prepared and studied. The development of the project will contribute with the synthesis of some bioactive molecules in the group such as the caramboxina and talnetant.
