Abstract

The Rodrigues stream Hydrographic has its headwaters located in the Lopes mountain range in the city of Pilar do Sul, SP, in crystalline lithology, the river flows into river Sarapui in the city of Salto de Pirapora-SP, with a predominance of Itararé Subgroup. It is characterized as a boundary between the Planalto Cristalino (Crystalline Plateau) and the Depressão Períférica (Peripheral Depression) that in conjunction with the Araçoiaba da Serra Alkaline Intrusion and faultings of Taxaquara and Moreira, represents an important area for development of geomorphological works. The objective of this research is to study the morphostructural controls from the anomalies of the drainage network, which affect the spatial distribution and the organization of waterways, therefore, it will be used the Systemic Theory as a theoretical basis because it allows the correlation between different systems and subsystems for an integrated analysis of the area. From the methodological point of view, in addition to the field research in the area, techniques will be used which involve morphostrutural mapping and the indexes applied of the morphometric analysis.(AU)
