Abstract The search for alternatives that make a more sustainable agriculture and that preserve the soil and the water has been a constant the recent years in our country. The goal in that present work will be realized is verify the behavior of two rice cultivars, IAC 202 and Primavera, cultivars in system of direct seeding over millet straw, gray mucuna and millet and more gray mucuna with five nitrogen application rates (0, 40, 80, 120 and 160 kg N/ha). The components of productivity and seeds quality will be analized. (AU)
