This thesis is part of the research "Formative processes, differences and values" of the Postgraduate Education program of the Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia of Universidade Estadual Paulista - UNESP. Research studied the audiovisual educational productions on sexuality and reproductive rights, produced by Non-Govermmental Organizations (NGO) in the state of São Paulo, which are done to teachers to use in teaching processes with young. The purpose was to analyze the reproductive rights in the audiovisual educational materials produced by NGOs, aimed both for teachers and for educational work with young people, as well as investigate how is presented and questioned the educational, theoretical and policy dimensions, the sexuality and the reproductive rights. Four videos have formed the corpus of documentary research, which are: Minha vida de João, Era uma vez outra Maria e Bonezinho Vermelho (produced by the ONG ECOS - Comunicação em sexualidade) and Você soube da Márcia?(produced by GTPOS - Grupo de Trabalho e Pesquisa sobre Orientação Sexual). We conducte acollection, description and analysis of the following aspects: 1) the set of statements that constitute images and textual narratives; 2) technical support and resources used in the production of images; 3) the statement of their authors gathered through interviews. The research is qualitative and uses the theoretical framework of socio-historical and cultural studies of Bakhtin (1990). Based on the concepts of dialogism, intertextuality and interdiscursivity we create and analyze the combinationset of statements that make up each video separately and jointly, to bring us closer to the realizationof specific contexts. We note that the work with the intersection of the statements becoame the main thematic categories and/or conceptual that will be deal with question the videos. These materials are understood as a devices of production, control and regulation of sexuality as they contribute to shape ideas and models about how young people have to be in our culture, and affect the way of being, thinking and acting of the identities and subjectivities of young ones. The meanings behind the ideas of Youth, Sexuality and "Youthful sexuality" are the basis for the analysis of social scenarios presented in the videos and reference to the opposition of practices explicits or implicits, recomanded or criticized and outstanding or omitted. These are the view that guide the research and questioned the videos from visual culture studies that understands the image as the central element of the processes from which there is the sense of certain contexts. The video's images are relatedwith other ones belonging to our culture, in order to compose a visual narrative that produce newmeanings and understandings about reproductive rights of young people. The results show howthere is no correspondence between discourses that young people identify as "subjects to law", theagents and principal actor, that are able to make a decision about matters that affect their lives, and the treatment they receive as "immature" or "irresponsible". Decisions about their lives and actions are rarely considered into account and their views, values, aspirations, concerns and feelings about their experiences are "unauthorized". The intervention and socioeducational measures aimed toyoung people contain a strong prescriptive intentionally (certainly not by accident or neglect) and it's remarkable because of mismatch between what is said and what is done about encouragement of youth empowerment for the civic life in all its senses. The study was funded by FAPESP - Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de Sao Paulo.
